President – David Lewry
Prior to UCLA Anderson, David was a member of the Japan Equities Team at Wellington Management Company, where he led market research looking for investment opportunities within the light-emitting diode (LED) industry. Before Wellington, David spent two years as a venture capitalist for Presidio STX, the venture capital investment for Sumitomo Corporation, focusing on investments in the telecommunications, Internet security and social-networking site industries. David also spent 3 years in Tottori, Japan as a foreign language teacher and member of the Japan Exchange Teaching (JET) Program.
At Anderson, David is focused on operations and strategic planning within the renewable energy industry. David enjoys Japanese culture, cheering on the Boston Red Sox and playing tennis.
Co Vice President External – Michelle Lee (michelle.lee.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Prior to UCLA Anderson, Michelle gained 4 years of finance experience in the entertainment/media industry. She was part of a business planning team at the Walt Disney Company which collaborated with cross-functional teams across Disney’s multiple lines of business to develop quarterly forecasts and create annual business plans. Previously, Michelle was a senior auditor at Nigro, Karlin, Segal, & Feldstein, LLP where she led multiple engagements with the entertainment industry’s largest film/television production studios, advertising agencies, and advertisers.
At UCLA Anderson, Michelle is focused on strategy and business development. Michelle enjoys good food finds, yoga, and traveling.
Co Vice President Internal – Audrey Anhood (audrey.anhood.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Audrey Anhood serves as the Co-VP Internal for SOMA. She is responsible for organizing the Kick-Off social, orientation-related activities and other intra-club events. Audrey is focusing her MBA studies on Entrepreneurship, Operations and Strategy. Prior to Anderson, Audrey worked as the Director of Operations and Human Resources for a design, manufacturing and distribution firm, where she established organizational best practices, managed international clientele, and partnered with overseas factories to streamline operational processes. Audrey earned a BA in International Relations from Brown University. She spends her free time enjoying the outdoors, cooking, reading and socializing with friends.
Co Vice President Internal – Sabina Mehra (sabina.mehra.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Sabina Mehra is currently an MBA class of 2010 candidate at UCLA Anderson School of Management where she is pursuing a concentration in strategy. She is currently the VP Internal for Strategic Operations Management Association and also served as the first-year director of internal. She has also served as both the first-year director and currently as the VP Finance for the Healthcare Business Association. Sabina is also an ASA social chair and served first-year as marketing director for the Entrepreneur Association Internship Fair. Prior to coming to UCLA Anderson, Sabina spent three years in the financial services industry at Bank of America, where she focused on sales, client relationship management, and team management. She served as the resident small business expert and managed consumer and business client portfolios before moving to team and operations management. Sabina holds her B.A degree from UCLA where she graduated from the College Honors Program with a major in psychology, and with minors in Spanish and public policy, with a social welfare concentration. Sabina is fluent in Spanish, has extensive international travel experience, and will be an International Exchange Program participant at Melbourne Business School in the fall.

Vice President Finance – Derek Oosterman (derk.oosterman.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Derek graduated from Pomona College in 2003 with degrees in economics and international relations. Prior to starting at Anderson, he worked as a consultant at The Concord Group, a boutique real estate advisory firm headquartered in Newport Beach. During his tenure, Derek led a team of consultants to make strategic recommendations pertaining to land use issues and the business of development for homebuilders, developers, financiers and public entities. Derek is currently pursuing his MBA at UCLA Anderson, where he is focusing in the areas of strategy and finance. He enjoys travel, wine and tennis.

Vice President Marketing – Ulric Huang (ulric.huang.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Ulric graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation he moved to Washington DC where he worked in litigation consulting at Navigant Consulting for 3 years. At Navigant, he worked to determine financial impacts associated to cost and schedule overruns for large construction industry clients. He later worked for Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP in their Commercial Real Estate Valuation Practice. At Deloitte, he created financial models used to value real estate assets for financial reporting purposes.
At Anderson, Ulric has focused his studies on strategy, operations, and real estate. As VP of Marketing, Ulric is charged with updating the SOMA website, ensuring events are communicated to members and the student body, and updating the school with any SOMA-related information. Outside of school, Ulric enjoys biking, triathlons, and rock climbing.

Vice President Energy – Adam Eng (adam.eng.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Adam has a background in Construction Management, spending his post undergraduate days working in the Bay Area on several commercial and residential buildings. He was an Assistant Project Manager for Webcor Builders, working on such projects as the Letterman Digital Arts Center for George Lucas in the SF Presidio. Most recently prior to coming to Anderson, Adam transitioned from a Project Management role into a Business Development role with Nibbi Brothers General Contractors specializing in the construction of multi-family affordable housing projects. Adam is LEED accredited and played an active role in promoting energy efficient systems and sustainable green building practices in his previous work experience.
Adam earned his BS in Construction Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At UCLA Anderson, he has focused on Strategy, Operations, and Business Development as his core professional interests. In his spare time Adam loves to watch ESPN, play softball, sing, and follow his beloved SF Giants.

Vice President FEMBA Relations – Helen Ying (helen.ying.2010@anderson.ucla.edu)
Helen has been actively involved with SOMA since 2008, serving as co-webster and FEMBA Director of Marketing. She is concentrating her MBA on Strategy and Operations. She keeps busy during the day working at Northrop Grumman. Her first position took her into the miniature world of nanolithography. Her current position involves the testing and qualification of satellite parts. Helen earned her BS in Chemical Engineering with a Biochemical Engineering specialization and an MS in Materials Science & Engineering with a MEMS concentration, both at UCLA.
